For reality TV lovers Down Under looking to keep up with the latest US drops without dodging spoilers online, the big question remains: How much does Hayu cost in Australia?

Hayu Australia Pricing Tiers

Hayu offers a few different subscription paths depending on whether you want month-to-month flexibility or prefer to lock in a longer block to save some cash. Following a price adjustment, the current subscription options for Australian users are:

| Subscription Plan | Cost (AUD) | Best For |
| :— | :— | :— |
| Monthly-Rolling Plan | $8.99 / month | Maximum flexibility; cancel anytime with no lock-in contract. |
| 6-Month Rolling Plan | $43.99 / 6 months | A mid-term commitment that shaves a little off the monthly equivalent. |
| 12-Month Rolling Plan | $79.99 / year | The best value option for dedicated fans, effectively giving you a significant discount compared to paying monthly all year. |

Is There a Free Trial?

Yes! If you are a new subscriber, Hayu typically offers a 7-day free trial. This gives you a full week to binge-test the platform, check out the video quality, and make sure your favorite shows are heavily represented in their massive library before any money leaves your account.

What Do You Get for Your Money?

At roughly $8.99 a month for the standard plan, Hayu is positioned as one of the more affordable niche streaming apps on the Australian market. For that price, your subscription unlocks:

• Same-Day Releases: New episodes of major shows (like The Real Housewives, Below Deck, and Vanderpump Rules) usually drop on Hayu the same day they air in the United States.
• Massive Back Catalogues: You don’t just get the current season; you get access to years of historical seasons, allowing you to deep-dive into classic reality TV lore from episode one.
• Ad-Free Streaming: Watch your drama unfold uninterrupted by commercial breaks.
• Multi-Device Compatibility: Stream across smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart TVs, and streaming sticks like Chromecast or Apple TV.

How to Sign Up or Save

Getting started is simple. You can sign up directly through the Hayu website or download the app via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Keep an eye out for potential bundle deals or promotional partnerships too—telecom providers and gift cards occasionally offer ways to streamline or discount your subscription.

Ultimately, if you live for Bravo drama and unscripted chaos, the sub-$10 monthly investment is a relatively small price to pay to keep your finger firmly on the pop-culture pulse.
