How to Find Your Custom Zoom Link Easily

Finding your custom Zoom link—often tied to your Personal Meeting ID (PMI) or a personalized URL alias—is a straightforward process once you know where to look. Whether you are setting up a permanent virtual office space or trying to track down a link you already customized, here is how to locate and manage it.

Step 1: Head to the Zoom Web Portal

While the Zoom desktop and mobile apps are great for jumping straight into meetings, custom link settings and profile adjustments live on the web.

  1. Open your web browser and go to zoom.us.
  2. Click Sign In and log into your account.

Step 2: Navigate to Your Profile

  1. Once you are signed in and looking at your account dashboard, click on Profile in the left-hand navigation menu.
  2. Scroll down the page until you find the sections labeled Personal Meeting ID and Personal Link.

Step 3: Locate or Customize Your Link

Zoom handles custom links in two different ways depending on your account type (such as a paid Pro, Business, or Education account):

  • Your Personal Link URL: If your account supports custom aliases, you will see a Personal Link field. It typically looks like [https://yourdomain.zoom.us/my/customname](https://yourdomain.zoom.us/my/customname). If you haven’t set one yet, click Customize on the right, type in your preferred alphanumeric suffix (between 5 and 40 characters), and hit Save Changes.
  • Your Personal Meeting ID (PMI): If you just want your permanent 10-digit meeting room link, look at the Personal Meeting ID row. You can click Show or Edit if you want to modify the underlying digits. The full URL associated with it serves as your permanent personal room link.

Quick Tip for the Future

Once you have located or created your custom link, copy it and save it somewhere easily accessible—like a sticky note, a bookmark, or your email signature. Because your personal link never changes, anyone you share it with can use it to reach you anytime you open that room, making it the ultimate shortcut for recurring meetings and drop-in chats.
